Description and categories of data
The form fields displayed, along with the date and time of registration, are recorded in a database in a structured form. In addition, the form sends an e-mail to oa@ub.uni-stuttgart.de with the data entered.
Purpose
Investigation and processing of quality deficiencies in Open Access publications, especially in scientific journals; evaluation of publishing offers.
Legal basis
Legal basis is Art. 6, par. 1, letter e GDPR in connection with Art. 6, par. 3 GDPR, in connection with sec. 4 State Data Protection Act. LDSG (Baden-Württemberg) (DE).
Recipient
The recipient of the personal data transmitted via the form is the Open Access Team of the University Library.
Duration of storage
After six months, the entry is automatically deleted from the database.
Consequences of nondisclosure, possibility of objection or deletion
The information is voluntary, nondisclosure has no consequences.
Your rights
You have the right to obtain information from the University about your personal data stored and/or have data that are stored incorrectly corrected.
In addition, you have the right of deletion, restriction of processing, or a right to object to processing.
For this, please turn to the Data Protection Officer of the University of Stuttgart via e-mail.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if you believe that processing of your personal data violates legal regulations. The competent supervisory authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.
